Construction of the new Hālau of ʻŌiwi Art (HOA Maui) at Vineyard St. and N. Church St. in Wailuku continues to move forward with steady progress across multiple areas of the site. This week, excavation and grading work began, soil hauling and compaction advanced near the retail section, and preparations were made for the passenger elevator foundation. Geo Labs was also onsite to conduct compaction testing, ensuring the project stays on track and meets quality standards.
