  • Vehicles that exceed 7 foot in height, including any equipment and/or attachments such as roof racks, sky boxes, surfboards, toolboxes, etc. are not eligible for a parking permit due to garage height restrictions.

  • Those who reside within the residential boundary on or near Vineyard Street and Church Street in Wailuku, may register for a Wailuku Neighborhood Parking Permit to park overnight in the Wailuku Garage for FREE* from 11 pm to 5 am.
  • *Initially, parking will be free, with the expectation that fees will apply in the future, pending approval by the Maui County Council.

The new Wailuku Garage and surrounding roadway improvements is the culmination of efforts since the late 1990s aimed at improving access and walkability within Wailuku Town. The County of Maui extends a big mahalo to the many people who contributed their feedback on this project, the town’s businesses and neighbors for their patience during construction and the many community stakeholders, consultants and contractors for helping to make this project a reality.
